Our Work, a group of nursing homes was company.When from another nursing home, bought at the end of March 2007 again, we have received states that letter letter.In our contracts with our old habits remain as they are not affected and remain were.It also the transfer of undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and includes the testimony affected their statutory and contractual rights.
Now we just have an employee handbook of procedures and guidelines of the new company.In the manual says things like, we can rearrange the right to working hours and overtime reserve will be exposed to discussion.We work required for each team, in the morning, afternoon shifts.Also or evening, if necessary, will work in OTHome worksites.This or an express condition of their nights essential.My employment.Flexibility / time / place of work was with the previous contract.

The exclusion of a collective agreement can not have employment contracts. Therefore, the rights that you have statutorial. Employees under the statutory right to work if the employer wants to work, and overtime if the employer requires.

You have two options if they do not want to work as many hours as you employer. First, can leave and find a job that suits you better somewhere else. Second, you can talk to your employer about their problems and try to find a compromise. Please refer to the first reason.

An "at will" employee, incidentally, is one who works at the will of the society.

If you have an employment contract, a union or other entity that guarantees a precise timetable and changes, the employer is free to staff working in a configuration that supports their needs best d 'business.
